I love to go fast! I love to drive fast, I like to walk fast, I like to make quick decisions, I just like to live life in the fast lane! I also do not like to wait, but that’s a different story, for a different day.
But often times, I find myself being put into situations where I have to slow down.
Nowhere does Proverbs 4:26-27, say slow down, but if you’re moving so fast, how are you going to be able to see anything. God calls us to watch where we are going.
Watch the path of your feet And all your ways will be established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; Turn your foot from evil.
He’s calling us to stay focused on the task at hand. Do not look for ways to get out of what he is telling you to do. Instead, look straight ahead and watch God move in your life and watch God move in your child’s life.
AND Keep your foot from evil. Keep your foot from evil people, evil places, and evil deeds. Just because the world says it’s OK, does not make it OK. Check the Word for truth and then check yourself and see where your feet are and where they are headed.
