What a great reminder shared from Author Earvin Kyle Amacan. You don’t have to wait until your child is older to train them to do ANYTHING. You can literally start today!
Here a clip of me training my daughter to pray.
That was me asking my daughter if she wanted to pray. This is how we usually start off. Afterwards we prayer for Gia and for those that are in her life. And let me tell you, this little girl reminds me EVERY night that we have to pray. I pray with her first and then when she’s good and sleep, I pray alone.
It’s so important for me to pray with her because it’s my heart’s desire to see her chase after God’s own heart. It’s what God wants as well. I also want for her to have a relationship with God first and foremost. So we pray, and sometimes we read her baby Bible, and we sing songs like “Yes, Jesus loves me” and “Father Abraham” and it’s all for the glory of God. I believe with my whole heart that I am planting a seed and I know that God will take care of it.
So Yes, Mama! Your newborn, your infant, your toddler, your mini adult ( HAHa!!) is never too young to learn something. Start today! Start praying with them. Start singing to and with them. Dance with them. Plant that seed and watch Papa God do the rest.
