Be Consistent, that is my motto for this new season.
To be consistent at work, in school, in relationships, and with my faith. All too often I find myself swaying with the winds of life. Whenever something unexpected happens I am thrown to the left or the right. I do not like that and it makes me come off as unstable. There is nothing more that I want than stability for myself and for my child.
So what’s my plan?
How do I plan on being consistent?
I plan on being consistent by:
- Waking up and getting in my Bible, first thing.
- Getting to work on time.
- Working as if I am working for the Lord and not for men.
- Putting effort into the programs that I have started or signed up for.
- Cooking meals.
- Paying bills on time.
- Making time for those I care about.
This list is just a beginning, but we have got to start somewhere!
To be like Christ
That is our duty as Christians, to be Christ like, and if Christ is consistent, why am I not? If the Bible tells me that I could do all things through Christ who gives me strength, then what is going on?
When we are not consistent we need to look at who strength we are operating in. In most cases you will notice that we you operate in your own strength, things go haywire! Therefore, I encourage you today to tap into the source, tap into the Holy Spirit, pray and ask for God’s strength DAILY. Then watch how your life changes.
